Fire and Ice, by Robert Frost
as told through photos of Rescued Hen Friends with their coloured feathers of contrast

"Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice."

Ha, in actuality, they're all very friendly, being birds, they naturally have an "intense" looking facial expression at all times - beaks are not well known for being friendly looking, they make it difficult to smile! :-)
My late friend Black Chick has a similar story to tell through photos, she started off black, and slowly the fire spread over time :-)

Black Chick edited photo, her adult self on the left, a year or two old, apparently looking at an inserted version of herself, a couple hours after hatching :-) |
